i found that when unfolded halfway, one of the paper planes has a heart on it, thx to the fact that the very smart classmate of mine threw 2 of them into the carpark out of school

astro welcome party, as stated before, due too the sheer magnitude of the club, things tend to get huge, like the 24 pizzas and round 20 bottles of soft drinks...... yea so thats round 192 sices and 30 litres of drink for 50+ ppl. rather filling, going around taking stuff...... then you see, we had 24 boxes stacked up(more than almost all the boxes from the other CCAs last week combined, hehe), so astro, beening somewhat physics saw that it was a great opportunity to demostrate the power of newton's law of inertia, basically the teachers pulling out the scond last box without making the whole thing collapse, then 2 at the same time, and then got owned at 4.

wacko after that, its fun with the astro club as there is a lot of ppl.....(should suggest murderer next year) and if you look at the post last year, astro ppl are a bunch of ppl who uphold the ancient art of saboing very very well

there was another game, starting from a, name a word thats related to astronomy or physics for every one of them. they actually completed 2 rounds, lots of words......

next time if you are on the mrt, dun start staring at some random guy with a big bag and start imagining his a terriost, go dig up ur memories and try to fit them together, i did that today and i somehow juz started find out a lot of stuff...... like wat is gradient, you see i kinds was distracted by sth last year during geometry class and happened to miss the definition, nvr was able to find out the excat definition again, untill today i thought on the bus that it is how many points y will increase for every one point of x, therefore the steepper the line the higher the gradient, vertical line has undefinied gradient, speaks for itself, not gonna think about it.

so therefore i decided to say that in physics, though you shld rely on definitions, you can try to explain with them if you really dun get it. so on a graph of velocity vs time, the gradient is for every 1 sec how much does velocity increases, which is accleration, dam, that was buggin me for days......

theres another one about orbits, not gonna explain, gonna spend more time on the bus tmr.....

Speaking of that after 4 failed tries and 2 emails to the teacher i found that i hav typed the same thing wrongly into the calculator 4 times, thus resulting sth that bugged me for 2 days for nth, damit, at least now i got the right answer...........

hi welcome to astronomy club, we hav 60 people wif 5 scopes , 2 binos, i huge scope and a radio scope, 2 teacher in-charge, 1 former-teacher-in-charge whos still in charge, and around 5 ex-members who are currently teacher in the same sch and 600bucks for 1 welcome party, generously sponsered by the sch........ everytime we want to do some observation, the sky trembles to the sheer magnitude and starts putting on its cloud armour.
eh ya, so thats wat happened yesterday, it started raining, so we decided to teach those people who for some reason still do not even noe how to use a scope properly er how to use the scope properly, zzzz which they decided that yr1-3 should stick around and listen, lols, i hav learnt sth though, magnification of scope = F.L of scope/F.L of lens, the reason of course, i hav no idea, and its said i will soon learn in physics.... hmm
and er they thought us how to set up a scope -.- thrid time i'm listening, lost count of how many times i tried it....., its a very dangerous job, turning the wrong knob could result in one or more of the below
1)a cracked skull
2)$(-1000)-
3)7 years of bad luck, or rather allowance
4)a whole floor of lethal glass shards
5)extreme horror
6)more time spent on listening to how to set up a scope

ah well, at least now i noe y you nid a flip mirror for that cheap tiny scope(theres this once we brought the whole thing to nus field and no 1 hav a flip mirror)

ah, ppl saying physics teacher too hard to understand during mentoring today...... really meh? still can wat -.- i mean if you had understood the basics of physics during the last two years, this is juz one with more symbols(which you can ignore), and algebra........ wat is so difficult? then theres someone sayign that after all the cheem stuff the teacher said wont come out in exam, then her feedback was not in exams teaching for wat, confusing us somemore, zzzz learn for exams only ar, and its not confusing, it s juz that you are trying to cram everything(which is not needed, its nvr needed) the teacher is juz prooving a formula, all you hav to do is to know ROUGHLY the method he use....... and understand y the formula is true zzzz

some things you should do about physics
1) Dun mug(too much) somethings you should rmb, but when you rmb the basics with understanding, the complex is common sense
Like there was this section about how fridges work, basically the coolent is compressed and thus become a liquid, the energy pushing the particles apart now becomes heat, the heat is lost through the cooling coil, when it is uncompressed it evaporates and thus removes heat. 2)Dun rmb stuff in definitions
English is a great tool when it comes to communication, it is sophisticated enough for the specificness required during communication, BUT in physics, it is too complex and can mess you up, there for juz rmb in units, like acclearation, definition is the change of velocity during a given period of time and velocity is the displacement of an object during a period of time, so fregging complicated juz rmb m/s ² you wan definition juz look at it and work out....... and that also makes it much easier for the next point
3)Do not rmb the excat equation of wat * wat = wat or wat /wat = wat, seriously,there was this exam where is forgot how the equation regarding wavelenth, frequency and velocity, then i thought
v=m/s
frequency = 1/s
wavelenth = m
therefore, wavelength*frequecny =velocity
to find any other thing juz swap them like numbers, as numbers are simpler than words......
for example if you draw a graph of v over t and i tell you the area it occupies is the displacement
if you understand by definition, its gonna take a while for you to understand, if you rmb v as m/s and t as s, then you noe, m/s * s =m which is the unit for displacment, zzz same with the equation, do on both side and you end up wif the samething.....

1st day of feb thought i post about astro

first there was this movie, they move from a hula hoop to a circle of crowd to the town of venice to italy to europe to earth blah blah blah to the solar system(earth has disseapered quite some time ago) to the milky way(sun is juz a dot) to some more galaxy to the whole local cluster(stars crowd together to form galaxies while whole collection of galaxies come togtehr to form a cluster, now milky way dissapeared) then to more clusters then they couldn't zoom anymore zzz, look at the screen and you find out what a huge world is out there..... point to the spot you think earth is and you might be millions or billions of light years off

Then they went bak and started zooming in, from a drop of water to the micro-organism to the nucleus to the dna to the moleclues in the dna to the atom pass the electron cloud into the tiny nucleus into the protons and the tiny quarks flying aorund, then cannot zoom le. When you study too much chem stuff tend to get big, study some quatum physics to get it bak down

then was the quiz they hav every year and each year's is more joke then the last, like this year

c)Blast the astroriods with your proton gun(1 astroriod + proton wave = 2 astroriods, WOW hydrogen so pro ar.....)
d)Do nothing ( You crazy? Waiting for death....)
