if you think you're good at visualisation then try this.

Imagine a Möbius strip(google it if you don't noe what it is). Ok, now you see the 2 sides are essentially one side. So.... what would happen if..... I take a pair of scissors, and I cut along the middle of the strip parrallel to the sides. (Basically if you do it to a ring strip you'll get two rings, but what about the Möbius strip?)

If you decided to give up thinking then go try it urself.

i was talking to Wayne Soo during astro, and we were talking about all the random physics stuff. i feel so pwned -.- Other than that i realised that none of us could rmb the integrated rate law from last sem's chem, so phail. well at least we could prove it now that we can do calculas.

the stuff we learn in PPV(Polar coordinates, Paramatric equations and vectors) is quite useful i say, but its still getting to me, especially wif the extremely long equations like: dy/dx = (dr/d(-) sin(-) + r cos(-) )/(dr/d(-) cos(-) - sin (-)) where (-) is thetha

so..., i dun think i'll even bother wif math honours next yr. but it does seems useful though..... i used paramatric equations to totally hack a qns in NCT, and vectors to make electric motors a piece of cake..... so...... zzz IDK

NSC, tats national software competition. went to the algorithim round, in a team, and got 2nd, yay?

they spent a heck load on the prizes though, 4 categories, each requires team of 3s. each category has 3 merits and 3 tops. merit teams gets a 320gb hardrive per person, 2nd runner up gets iPod, 1st runner up gets digital camera and 1st gets a Wii. So.... total there is 36 hardisks, 12 iPods, 12 cameras and 12 Wii.(Hwa Chong and RI each took 6 -.-) Thats probably a few thousand....., not to mention all the trophies.

lolol, was playing 军旗麻将. basically you take the pcs from 陆战棋 and use them as majong tiles. and since there are pcs that exists in replicals of six, the game only takes a while, hehe...

oh and YK and me totally owned torque on electrical engines wif vectors, dun even nid to visualise to find the direction the engine spins.

chinese narrative compo sux...... i got the piece of paper ready, got the pen ready, wrote my name...... then i tried to start writing, and suddenly i get this strong feeling that i really dun want to do it. so i walk away. i come bak after a while, try to write again, and the same thing happens. the third time i managed to do just one sentence...... and the whole thing took a few hours -.-

seriously, the qns sux in the first place. its the type of qns i would avoid at all costs if it ever come out during o lvls:

compared to the last few wks of screw-ups in a variety of ways, today was rather awesome.

had AIO and physics test today, didn't have enuf time for both but its not excatly too screwed up. and i got 32/35 for chem. i think some of my friends want to kill me now coz i was complaining abt how badly i screwed up juz a while b4. i think i was lucky though, since i rushed thru the whole test without even thinking much.

ok so thats one aspect thats improved..... the others still hav a long way to go......
