if you think you're good at visualisation then try this.
Imagine a Möbius strip(google it if you don't noe what it is). Ok, now you see the 2 sides are essentially one side. So.... what would happen if..... I take a pair of scissors, and I cut along the middle of the strip parrallel to the sides. (Basically if you do it to a ring strip you'll get two rings, but what about the Möbius strip?)
