had some korean exchange students in our sch today, the principal gave his speech in korean, so we were all like, o.o. luckily there was a translator. oh and mr murali called out all the korean students from our sch..... some1 nids more translators LOL
anyway, after working on it wif yu jian and wayne for dunno how long, we finally came up a with a presentatble solution for physics o assignment 1 qns 2 -.-(the first desperate solution i had was accurate drawings -.-, and it actually gave me the correct answer lolol). anyway, i'll put the awesome ownage qns here. warning: calculas based kinematics is required -.-
A dog is chasing a cat. The cat starts moving from origin and has constant velocity to the positive x-direction. The dog always moves towards the cat with the same speed as the cat's/ If the dog starts moving from (0, -d), find the closest distance between the dog and the cat. Hint: Express the rate of change of their separation, as well as their horizontal and vertical seperation in terms of their speed.
