its quite a change i would say...... feeling rather empty now, one whole year is not a short time after all. somehow i seem to be taking it much better than i thought... perhaps its due to the fact that i have gotten so used to such thoughts of late, or maybe its because i finally had reality to grasp onto, but nvm it doesn't really matter. i really have to thank you anyways.... 9 yrs.... it seems rather astonishing, but i hope it would not all end here.

anyways.... life goes on. woke up at 5.30 today, cant sleep, decided to take a walk. i went down and found that the gate's still locked, i went back up and realised the cluster gate's locked too zzzzzzzz, camped outside the TV room for 20mins till 6 -.-. and i found that mornings are awesome. nowadays i'll probably sleep earlier (i feel like sleeping at 10.30 now), so i shall see if i can still stay awake if i wake up at 6. then i'll juz move my mugging sessions from 10.30 - 11.30 to 6.40-7.40. should work better, they say ur memory's better in the morning.

oh anyway, talking about sleep, it was one of the topics for the brain awareness talk. its quite interesting, like:
  • To perform optimally, we should be sleeping for 8.5-9.5 hrs
  • On a study whereby people's reaction time are compared to the number of hours of sleep they get each day, it was shown that sleep for only 6hrs a day over a period of a week or so has the same effect as not sleeping at all for 2 days
  • If you have to be woken up by an alarm clock, it means that your not getting enough sleep
  • If you can sleep anyway at anytime, it simply means ur not sleeping enough normally, and not that you can sleep better than others
  • Your brain can learn while u sleep.
